Whats your average jogging speed.

Whats your sustained jogging rate?

What speed on average to you job at, I know it depends whether your doing high intensity or low intensity. List what you do more, sustained for atleast around 5min.

I currently do 8-8.5 I used to do 9 but I've stopped cardio for a while and need to work back up, I also only run for around 7-10 minutes (200calories) at most before I need to hop off and grab a drink of water (I know thats nothing like the 20-40 minute sustained some of you do which drastically effects avg. jog). Then I switch to something else or hop back on. Soemtimes I do small jogs of only 100calories get a drink go back another 100cal ect.. drink, (I go by cal as in accurate as it is instead of time, so I can mess around w/ speed and do a higher intesity to the cal count in less time or vice versa and still pull around theoretically the same workout)

Height may play a factor too I'm 6"3 so jogging speeds are different than someone of 3"1.

Wanna work up to 10, some machines hit 12 but their belts slip the only ones that have stable belts can hit 10 which is plenty anyway if not sprinting for me even considering my short jobbing bout times.

hahaha 3"1?? hehehe but I jog about the same speed you do, and whaddaya know, im 6"3 too. ah, what a coincidence.
 
0 mph. Jogging's too rough on my knees. If I do cardio, it's walking at 3.3 mph at a 15 degree incline for about 30 minutes.
 
I wonder how high up machines go in incline I once in a while do it between 4-5mpg max incline but man I can't keep it up for long shit fries my calves. 15 sounds like alot ours I think hit 12 not sure.

Yeah, it's weird. Calf raises don't really do much for me. My feet are shit and I get horrible cramping pain in them if I have too long a TUL, so I usually go for very low reps. Unfortunately, I think I have about 1 fast twich fiber in each calf, so not much happens. I start walking on a 15 degree incline, which isn't particularly difficult for me and they blow up. My father's family is from Switzerland, so my theory is my ancestors adapted to walking around in the mountains. I've got a large rib-cage too which is maybe an adaption to the thin air in the mountains. Who knows?
 
I don't know my jogging speed but I do run a 6.5 min. mile avg., usually maintaining pace for 3 to 4 miles.
