what do you think of this workout routine?

hey there I am 22 years old and have been training 2 months. I want to get a nice workout plan going that i can stick to. i've read some bodybuilder magazines i got from the grocery store and copy/pasted a routine, tell me what you think:

  • 4 sets of 20 abs crunches
  • 4 sets of 10 arm curls
  • 5 sets of 12 pushups
  • 6 sets of 12 leg lifts
  • 5 sets of 15 box squats
 
that is a solid total body workout with the exception of neglecting the back. if you want to hit that start with the box squats are work backwards so you are more fresh for those.

i'm more of an advocate though for younger dudes like you to start with compound lifting for a few years
 
Try to experiment with different exercises and routines until you find what you like. Nothing wrong with switching things up to keep them interesting.
