Weight training around injuries

I have an upper body injury between my neck and shoulder blade. It isn't a soft tendon injury but it is a bone injury where I have a fracture. the doctor wants to put me on prednisone but I refused and I want to heal it naturally

do you think I can still work out around the injury or should I just take a break for a couple weeks
 
i try not to train when i'm injured at all, do yoga and pilates instead

Take the time off
 
Don't risk it man. Just take time off to heal. The gains you would make in the 12 weeks or so you are off are not worth the risk of setting yourself back even further.
