    Using weights

    Would you advise using weights to help increase range of motion and flexibility ? I really want to increase my flexibility as much as possible!

    not at all. lifting weights actually causes compression

    if you want to improve range of motion and flexibility then go to bikram yoga

    Doesn't sound like a very safe thing to do.
    Why not just start with doing some basic stretching?
    I am not sure what your sport is but basic gym training isn't that demanding as far as flexibility goes.

    I would try strectching, yoga, and being lean helps too.
