training for strength

do you guys think the same lifting for mass gains helps to gain strength or do I need a different routine to gain strength, thanks.

it depends if you are trying to make weight or you just care about strength

you can have a huge gut and eat steak and potatoes all day, stick your ass with tren, just lift heavy doing split compound lifting and get much bigger and stronger

you will look like shit but you will get stronger.. every gym has these types and they are called 'perma bulkers'

it is all about what your goals are.

Like Steve says it depends. If I was a PURE lifter I'd only train what I compete in and doing nothing but those and assistance lifts. Or, as I do, I can train the same basic bodyparts as a bodybuilder just with a lot less volume and higher weight. I've a lot on Evo I just started you can check out.

If you want to only focus on strength you would want to lift heavy with low reps. It will be achievable. If you want to focus on building on muscle the reps are way higher 12reps +
