Excerpt: I have tried doing hypertrophy specific training and have gotten good results in the past do you think I should add in supersets into them. My previous run was 3 weeks doing two to three sets of 15 rep max and then doing 3 weeks table 10 rep max and then a 3 week of a 6 rep max. Then the last few weeks I would do negatives. Is this a good set up

    Supersets in hypertrophy training

    I have tried doing hypertrophy specific training and have gotten good results in the past do you think I should add in supersets into them. My previous run was 3 weeks doing two to three sets of 15 rep max and then doing 3 weeks table 10 rep max and then a 3 week of a 6 rep max. Then the last few weeks I would do negatives. Is this a good set up

    I would stack negatives with super sets
    do like 2 super sets then follow by 1 set slow negatives
    it's the 2: 1 formula

    Yes, it' fun to change your workout... it keeps you engaged with workout and out of boredom...

    Why not. The hypertrophy thing is overplayed.

    All training that adds muscle is a kind of hypertrophy
