squatting and knee soreness problem

Excerpt: How do you differentiate between muscle soreness and actual knee problems? I squatted back over the weekend and my knee bone hurts when i press on it, like a jabbing pain and then the actual knee itself feels sore. it isn't the muscles that hurt at all. i was hoping to do squats again tomorrow

    You've just done the differentiation. Bone ache is not muscle ache

    what you are noticing is inflammation. the body will release that to heal things. stupid people will take anti inflammatories which ironically stops the body from healing in the first place lol

    just lay off of it for now. let it heal

    If you are really unsure, do not train that muscle again and give it some time to rest. If it still is not better, go get checked out.
