squats and sumos on leg day?

I've ben doing the following on leg day

5x5 squats
2-10 leg press
2-10 leg extentions
5x5 sldl
2-10 leg curl

Would it be too much lower back work if I replaced leg press with sumo deads? I already do conventional deads with back and I'm willing to get rid of sldl too...

I wouldn't do that if I were you. That is way too much stress on the back. SLDL's are the ultimate hamstring exercise, which is why I'd keep them. Personally I'd stick with what you have. If you really wanted to do sumos I'd rotate sumos and conventional deads on your back day every other week.

sounds fine to me, I like to get all the lower body work out the way on the same day, my lumbars dont recover fast enough to deadlift progressively and squat on separate days. If you're doing deads on another day AS WELL then no it's a dumb idea

alternate stld and sumos each session and lose the leg ext/curls and you're good to go
