spread eagle situps

Legs spread apart (hence: spread eagle), and arms across chest. Then do situps! I have to have someone hold my ankles down for this. Works the abs and hip flexors in the same plane.
 
I do mine with striaght legs spread apart as well. Really hit the inner hips/groin area. Along with just striaght leg sit ups these are my favorites.
 
Spatts - I know you have a lot of back arch (and a lot of back ;) ). I have a lot of back arch, too. I'm finding that straight-leg situps are hard on my low back. Do you?
 
It feels different when you hook your feet behind the squat/power rack rater than having someone hold your ankles down. We do them both ways...

They tend to relieve my lower back pain/pressure.
