Excerpt: I wanted to know if having big biceps truly helps in performance based sport. Would you say the core has more importance than the biceps ?

    I wanted to know if having big biceps truly helps in performance based sport. Would you say the core has more importance than the biceps ?

    Big biceps help if your sport is body building, but otherwise raw strength or speed is more important than hypertrophy in almost any other sport.

    Of the two - your core.

    Yes in sports performance you wont get a lot from biceps. Core would have to be more important in my opinion.
