Shoulders + tris ?

anthrax

MVP
EF VIP
I tried a couple of time to work the triceps after the shoulders

But I always had to stop quickly and work another group : after the deltoids, the tris are so sore that I can't do anything

Whereas I still have some energy to do a few chest exercices ...

I just switched from doing this....worked very well actually

...How do people manage to do chest\shoulders on the same day? I did this today and my shoulder strength was pathetic

Im with ya i jsut switched back to doing delts and tri's..I kind of like doing arms on their own day but i added a rest day in so i cant complain..Persoanlly i wouldnt be able to train my delts as heavy as i train them now after doing chest..but it works for some!

Yeah, shoulders and triceps together works really well for me.

this is what it looks like:

Close Grip Bench Press
Weighted Dips
Military Press
Skull Crushers
Alternate One armed lateral raises between skull crusher sets
Sometimes db front raises - kind of redundant though

this has worked well for me so far, the shoulders are worked directly later in the workout.

Currently training shoulders w/ legs. I always train my arms on a push pull basis. It is impossible for me to use the same pondage on arms if I do Pull, pull or push, push.
