what's up guys, I'm 21 and I will start hitting the weights next week for first time ever, I want to build big shoulders
I always dreamed about having big shoulders, what training routine do you recommend for that, thank you.

You should start with compound movements, like Squat, Bench, Deadlift, Overhead Press, Row, Pull-ups, Chin-ups, Push-ups, Dips... It's better if you create a overall strength fisrt.

In this beginning, focus more on technique and not loads. When you feel the movements are natural for you then you starts with loads.

You are a young male and a novice lifter... Probably you will respond really fast to training stimulus.

For help you start:

StrongLifts 5x5
https://stronglifts.com/5x5/

Starting Strength
https://startingstrength.com/get-started/programs

Both are begginer's training program.

If you like, film your lifts and post your videos here, we can help you with form.

Good luck [emoji109]

Given you've not trained ever any overhead pressing will work.

If you want to develop really broad shoulders - the standing barbell over head press.

Make that a priority in every workout and focus on trying to get stronger with that exercise
