    shoulder pain

    sounds like a rotator cuff injury

    not good. i'm not sure what you did but you need to warm up properly and you need to lift light the first year or two of lifting

    I would rest it for a while. Don't do anything that is going to put strain on your shoulder. You never want to push through pain and risk further more serious injury.

    I would see a good sports therapist and get it professional checked out. It might be serious.

    You can make a mild injury become a serious one very easily by not being proactive and treating it.
