seated db power cleans

I found this vid on your tube and I wanted to know which muscle group is it good for? I'm always looking for new shit to do at the gym.
 
Sounds like a main shoulder movement. Not sure why they want them done seated. Standing works the core and more stabilizers and I choose standing over seated on any exercise I can.

Cleans train the shoulders, traps, biceps and forearms.

I personally would stick with a barbell. Cleans are an explosive movement. You can easily tweak something using dumbbells.

Kind of like doing heavy dumbbell deadlifts. Not something I recommend. To me, it's an injury waiting to happen.
