There is no such thing as a one-size fits all in bodybuilding and fitness. You can surely use his workout routine as a general guideline, and it will definitely be better than taking nothing at all. However, you also need to listen to your body, and if some particular exercise does not fly with you, don't do it, and do something else. You need to try out different workouts and exercises in order to find what works best for you - not for Scott Steiner, not for Arnold, but only for you.

What you want to do is master the compound movements first. You can do this with a 5x5 routine. There is a good one called Stronglifts that has an app you can download for free to track your workouts. It makes it super easy.

Remember that you will need to eat big to gain mass. If you are training hard but not eating enough you will not get big.
