routine for first timer

Hi guys I'm 20 years old and I will start training next week, first time ever in my live, I want to get mass and people recommend me to concentrate in compound movements , I would like an advice on sets and reps for compounds thank you.
 
read the stickies on workout routines.. i would suggest the 5X5 program but you need to learn proper form first.. i see too many newbs at the gym with awful form on these compound lifts are you are only opening yourself up for failure and injuries
