Rep speed

Hey guys... Ive been doing some reading and found an article on rep speed... For example, take 40-65 percent of your deadlift and do it as fast as you can with good form. Does anyone have any experience or insight on the benefits of this? I've been thinking of doing a few sets after my deadlifts and squats, but wanted some opinions first

Thatbloke is right. Dynamic or ballistic lifts done with around 50-60% are used to improve rate of force development. Some people go a bit lower into the 40% range and some even as high as 80%. but for most it's 50-60%

never heard of it as a mass program though...

If you have been doing a traditional bodybuilding program for a while, it would be beneficial to get on a power lifting routine for a couple months. Integrate the principals the prior posts discuss to create one. The increased strength will lead to mass gains in the future.
