Question on form for incline bench press and military press.

These exercises seem similiar to me ( I hope I have the right ones). both exercises you have to bring the bar below your chin and then press up. I find this kind of awkward though because I cannot really go straight up, I have to detour around my face a little bit. Can someone please tell me how they do theirs?

the bench for an incline press should never be greater than 30 degrees. The bar or dbells should come close to your collar bone

As for military, I personally never go below my chin. I'll stop at chin height and go back up. My reason being is I wanna keep it a shoulder exercise. I don't want to bring in a lot of secondary muscles like triceps.
