push and pull splits

Is there a limit to how long you can continue doing push and pull splits? I am including leg days in there too, I count deadlifting as a pull lift and squats as a push lift. Also lunges I mix in between them along with my lower legs. Will this strategy catch up to me where I might get imbalances between upper and lower body?

I do them regular push and pull
1 day push
1 day pull
1 day rest
repeat

Nope.

No limit per se but I like to switch things up every 6 weeks or so. Just to keep things interesting. If you see results stall then definitely switch things up.
