Personal Training Beginner Questions

Certs are tests for minimal competency. Get any NCCA recognized cert like NASM,
ACE, ACSM, ISSA, or NSCA then get a quality internship or mentorship with a good trainer. Nothing beats hands-on experience.

ISSA cert was very easy for one to start out with. While it is noted as a recognize certification to be able to train, it isn't as rigorous as NASM and others. Like aforementioned though going into a gym as a private trainer is tough, putting in your time at a large chain gym and getting your clientele up and your name out there before going private is the way to go (although the base pay at large scale gym sucks, but clients are basically handed to you)
