Brothers,
I was wondering if doing this type of curls you can work your brachialis and biceps more Intensively , which are the muscle groups I'm having a hard time to develop, than doing regular hammer curls. I love free weights so basically my training program is based on using free weights, thanks guys

The exercise you are referring to is called the pinwheel curl. It's a GREAT bicep exercise and one of my favourite bicep exercises. You can use a lot of weight without putting any strain on your shoulders.

The beauty of the pinwheel curl is that it trains both the biceps and the brachialis because your palms are facing each other while doing the movement. The exercise is kind of like a hybrid between a hammer curl and a regular bicep curl.

Make sure to squeeze those biceps and brachialis when you do the exercise.

A lot of people do not realise how important is muscle-mind connection in bodybuilding.
