Olympic weight lifting

I tried to ad 1 a week to my normal lifting routine for explosive power i needed for my next muay thai camp. i dont like. just aggravated old injuries jerking weight around. yes, i used proper form. still jerking. its in the name.

I don't do those types of lifts and never have to be honest. I have always trained more for bodybuilding. I think it is great to try all different types though.
 
I do deadlifts every week but only perform cleans and jerks on occasion. It's a great exercise. I should do it more often. Thanks for the reminder.

The olympic lifts are awesome. I am not sure why they aren't more popular.

Look at the people lifting in the olympics. They all have awesome physiques.
