Need Help with a New Workout routine!!! Please Help!!!

I want to be starting a new program but i have no clue of what i should be doing!

My goal is to lose about 35-40lbs in about 4 months

This is my current routine:

Mon: chest
Tues: shoulders
Wed: Legs
Thurs: Back
Fri: Bi's & tri's

for each muscle group i do 3 exercises at 12-10-8-6 for reps

and i do 45mins cardio 5 days/week

I am also going to be starting the metabolic diet while training too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Peace!!!!
 
by metabolic diet ...do you mean ketogenic? High fat/high protien??
as for you workout I would try to hit each bodybart more often then once a week...limit your sets to 6-9 per bodypart and try a 3 day split for instance
MON:chest,shoulders,tri
TUE back,bis
WED thighs,calfs
thurs.chest, shoulder,tris
FRI back,bis
SAT thighs ,calfs
sun rest
or you could rest every 4th day ..the advantage to this tryp of program is you hit the bodypart more frequently....but remember to cut the sets down.
