My new homemade box.

Since I am home for Christmas break, I decided to be productive and build a box to use for box squats and such. However, I decided to make it a little fancier than the normal 2x4/plywood boxes. Here are some pics:

It weighs apprrox. 22 lbs, and is adjustable from approx. 13"-18". The top is 18"x18".

Once I figure out how much the materials cost, I might consider making these and selling them, if there is interest.

Are box squats really that much more easy on the knees?
Or are there any other major benefits other than your muscles get to relax and fully contract again at the bottom of the movement reducing any bouncing effect?

looks good, are you some sort of welder?
My family owns a big machine company, and they have a bunch of welders that work for them. I did all the designing, cutting, and sanding and got one of the welders to do the welding.
