minimum rest days

Excerpt: is there a minimum number of rest days you should take per week..I mean non-lifting days,not absolute rest (ie no cardio either)

    i think you should try to get at least 1- 3 days a week of resting.. i'm taking 1 now but hey thats me..

    I take one since I upped my cardio to 60 mintues (see WarLobo's missive on the Women's board)--I used to just do short cardio on days I didn't lift, but I think my CNS does better with one day where I barely crawl out of bed, walk the dog, weed my garden, etc.

    2 days absolute minimum. 3 days for me and IMO the proper amount of rest. 4 days is good for very intense workouts.
