He's a neat guy... his personality is great, and he seems to be a genuinely nice fellow... but he just doesn't have what it takes to be in the sport right now. I think teaming with D-Lo is what really killed him.

And I hope he can win it... but I have little faith that it will happen. This being his first competition and all... I'm sure he will do well... but I don't think he'll bring it home.

Ok...The contest he is competing in is not the World's Strongest Man contest...not even close. It is not even a qualifier for the WSM next year. It will be a joke!!!!! The events are basically rigged for the competitors who were INVITED. Yes...not just anyone can enter...you must be invited. The best in the world are not welcome to compete...it is invitation only. This contest is all about promotion...not competition.

The events will also be greatly skewed towards powerlifting also I feel. There is a lot of talk, but it is just that. Garry Frank has also been invited...but I believe that he will NOT be competing.

Svend was also invited...but he himself does not even know what the events are...that is crazy. It will be lucky if it even happens...and then, in my opinion, it will prove nothing. It's like having a bodybuilding show where all you have to do is be big...and not lean or with good shape. It is only part of the sport. Strength without muscular endurance is only half of strongman...if that.
