Log Chains

Chains and bands have been real popular lately with hardcore powerlifters. I've tried them and they add a whole new intensity to bench day.

I have added chains to my workouts for the past few weeks. Did not notice much difference with squats and deads. On the other hand, cleans and push presses are a lot more difficult with chains. For these lifts, the chains remove momentum from the bar and force you muscle through the lift.

Anyone use them on bench? Sounds interesting and I have some, may try after my shoulder gets better.

you will see better results if you are trying to improve your 1 rep max on bench/squat/deadlift if you are using a suit or shirt. for those that are lifting RAW, you won't get much benefit from the use of chains and or bands, unless you have problems with your lockout.
