Light/more

Lovelifting

New member
I've been doing lighter weights/more reps to cut! Seems to be working although i haven't lost lbs but i can tell in the mirror. Is this common? If you're wondering, i do do some heavy as well. Heavy deads and squats 4 sets of 5 reps. Everything else is 3 sets of 12-15

Well more reps/lighter weight builds more muscle, so youre probably adding muscle and thats why the weight isnt changing

Keep your heavy compound lifts first. Heavy ass movement keeps you strong and help preserve muscle mass while cutting. You wAnt to stay strong as possible. Diet dictates how well you cut more so than the amount of reps. After your heavy compounds then do your assistance work, or isolation movements with like 12-15 reps
