    Lifting for improving running times?

    I have been running for years and Iím curious to know how I can improve my times. I know lifting will be a good indication on improved running times. Which lifts are best ? What would you guys recommend ?

    This is not something I've ever trained specifically for, but I would assume you would want to work out with lower weights and higher reps to not bulk up too much.

    i would focus on joining a running group where you can pace with people your speed or faster. that is how you improve

    weight training in moderation is okay for a runner, but if you over do it then you are screwing yourself
