I've not been able to get ATF while wearing my wraps. It's not for want of trying either: last time I used them my leg just above behind the knee was heavily bruised. They give great stability but I settle for breaking parallel when I have the wraps on.
I've never used them before. I think that all one needs are knee warmers. Once you get warm joint laxity increases and you'll be fine. As far as support... No clue.
i've posted articles on knee wraps plenty of times. if you've never used them and don't have a problem- good.
if you squat heavy, wraps will protect your knees. they won't make you weaker- they will just protect you- so there's nothing wrong with using them if you feel the need.
Rheband supports are definitely the way to go...a step down from Inzer wraps but def do the job for some extra support...just be aware that they are sold individually.
