JS rows are what?

Welcome to the EliteFitness.com Bodybuilding Site! Please join this discussion about JS rows are what? within the Weight Training & Weight Lifting category.

Excerpt: I was reading an article about bill starr 5X5 and he mentions something called JS rows but after youtubing and google I still cannot figure out what the heck they are. I know what rows are already but these JS rows instructions are dropping your shoulders and rounding upper back but not lower back. Then explosive movement and pull your arms. Not sure I have seen these done before. Anyone try them ?

i'm not a fan of explosive lifting. as someone who spent almost a decade doing Olympic style lifting like clean and jerks it really takes a toll on your disc health

jerking motions when weight training can and will catch up to you. i am here to tell you the proper way to train is focusing on breaking down the muscle and training your muscles efficiently. leave the ego at home

Seems like an easy way to get injured when there are other more safer varieties of rows.
