Inversion tables

I have had back problems off and on for a couple of years. I havent seen a doctor about it because I have usually been able to get along by sleeping well and concentrating on sitting correctly and not slouching.

Now I have a dull ache all the time and sometimes (if I move just right) I get a piercing pain in my asscheek. The dull ache that I have all of the time is a couple of inches below my waistline, like its in my pelvis or something.

I saw something about inversion tables the other day on TV and was wondering if anyone has ever used them and if they helped with back problems.

I figure I will be seeing a chiropractor soon, but wanted to get some input.

Back pain that goes down into your butt can be serious bad news - you should get it checked by a doctor man.
