    Beltless squats and deadlifts are great for a thick strong core.

    Nothing works instantly but basic heavy compound movements like squats, deadlifts, rows, overhead press etc.

    free weights. if you ever find yourself shaking while you workout then that is your core working

    Big lifts work the core. Make sure you are hitting them properly and regularly

    Lots of planking will help with core stability. Make sure you push yourself daily to reach your targets!

    Any movements that affect the midsection. I've never really thought about it to be honest. If you do basic exercises it will get worked.
