If I'm doing HIIT cardio 3 times a week with 15 second sprints, is more cardio necessary?
Should I also do 20mins of regular walking on the treadmill set at 3.6mph on rest days or should I just rest on rest days?
I usually do this type of cardio for 3-4 weeks at a time.
When I'm not doing this type of cardio I do 20mins of walking on the treadmill set at about 3.6-3.8 4 times a week.
During this period should I rest on rest days, or would it hurt to do this walking on 2 of my rest days?
IMO during the HIIT sprinting cardio 3 times a week, I feel it's important to rest on the rest days.
