Excerpt: Just wondering, is there a difference in the amount of time it takes white and red muscle fibers to recover? I know neurologically when you go to failure the neurological system is often the limiting factor, but what I'm talking about here is skateboarding where faliure is never reached.

    Yes white fiber takes much longer to recover. That's why fast twitch guys use lower volume in training

    I wouldn't worry about it to much, as long as your CNS is in good shape your ready to train even if your still sore
