i havent been doing a true HIT but i think i will eventually evolve into it.
also i think my protien requirements are less because of HIT workouts, they do not burn up as much muscle tissue as conventional programs.
case and point....i had the flu about 4 weeks ago and it lasted for a week. all i had was practically a bowl of cereal and tea and some chicken noodle soup each day, with barely any protien. well after the flu i lost about 15 pounds and strength was only down maybe a rep on each lift. not so bad
my delts and back the past 5 months have never grown as much as they do on a hit program. i feel like i can workout once a week and thats it ! so now instead of weightlifting i just mainly use the gym for the treadmill.
i just thought id let everyone know my success with hit
