I have really tight hips

Its really hard for me to squat because they are so tight and it really hurts to perform a squat. What do you guys think is the best way for me to improve my range of motion ??
 
proper warm up before your exercise

i would sign up for some yoga classes. normally i would recommend bikram yoga but for your situation find any GOOD yoga studio that isn't full of old people. you will get a really good hip stretch and can learn them to do at home.

and then from there from now on always stretch post workout using those stretches
 
Same here. There are hip mobility videos all over youtube. Check those out and see what works best for you. For me, riding a recumbent stationary bike with the seat very close to the pedals for about ten minutes lets me warm my hips up since i have to use my hips to move the pedals rather than my knees and quads. then i have a series of mobility movements that I do before I begin leg training
 
What are you doing now to improve the tightness now?
