How much cardio?

I am about 4 weeks out from leaving for Mexico for my wedding. I want to add cardio into my weekly splits to bring down my bf. I am naturally lean, but I am looking for a little added boost. I have a pretty lean diet now, but I will get a little bit stricter coming into these final weeks. I sit now at prob around 10% bf give or take. I was thinking 3 days a week, low intensity? Not sure about frequency and intesity (target HR). Also, any dieting tips would be great. Maybe something to contest prep?

thanks

I dont understand why people waste their time with low intensity cardio. A 200lb dude will burn about 450 calories doing low impact aerobics in an HOUR. Why would anyone want to spend an hour jogging in place? Just eat 450 less cals a day and you accomplish the same thing and have an hour to actually do something productive.

If I were you I would bust out an 8-12 minute high intensity tabatta style workout which will take a fraction of the time and will, over the course of the next 12-24 hours burn more calories than that low intensity cardio.

+1 Rick & Zyg......cardio should be like a recon mission......get in/get out
