Excerpt: Today I hit a new PR in squat, I wrapped up my knees just for some security and peace of mind and put 405 on the rack with a spotter. The first rep was light, the 2nd was heavy and the third was a struggle but I got all 3. I am always fearful of knees buckling since I am a taller guy, what was your squat PR?

I Hatfield Squat using a Safety Squat bar - so I've done 700lbs in that style. No wraps

Re: hitting a squat PR
No clue. I have never really lifted for strength. Not going to start now either since I want to avoid injuries.
***Canadians, hit me up on Wickr Mobile (MasonicBB) for my steroid source***

Re: hitting a squat PR
I had disc problems starting in my early 20s so I never have been able to sqyat heavy. I have no idea what my 1 rep max would be. I always did 20 to 30 rep sets with squats

That's what power racks are for. I did 616lbs x 4 in the style listed above and trained solo using my rack.

i’d prefer not having to throw back 500+lb from my back slammed onto a rack causing a scene.
