help increasing bench press and curl weight

anyone have advise on what i should to to move up quicker in these two lifts

i havent lifted since i got outta school im 21 now so its been a while
i could press 190 then
and curl 130

just bought a new bench and everything and want to get more powerfull

im not gonna lie im a chubby guy
about 260 and six foot two

right now (been lifting again for a few days now) im capable of
175 lbs bench press
and 110 curl

also interested in what the best suppliments (over the counter) would be the best to help me in my journey, dont need weight gain for sure lol
well basicly any advice you can offer about anything is greatly appreciated
 
oh yeah might as well give ya guys a before pic
im a newb to weight lifting so take it easy on me
i know im not the strongest guy around

but i want to improve and with the help of the people here im sure i can do it faster than i could on my own

time is one thing i have alot of
i just want to be sure im doing whats right with it

welcome. first off, if you're looking to be strong, you've come to the right place. if you want to look pretty, try the weight training forum.

clean up your diet. forget the curls for now. focus your energy on the bench, deadlift, and squat for now

if you have lots of free time, read everything on www.elitefts.com. EVERYTHING. you will then have a better understanding of powerlifting and how to get stronger. go HERE

make sure you read all of the articles on that site. the link to them is at the top of their homepage

I second what Devastation says. Make sure you build a foundation with your reading of ELITEFTS.COM It is really an important site.
