Excerpt: I'm trying to brush up on my workout dictionary and a dude I know from India was saying he practices hatha for his stress and I wasn't sure what he meant so i asked him. he said it had to do with yoga and to look into it. so that is why I am here, can you explain what it means and how do use it to help with stress. I work as a manager at the mill and am very stressed these days

    is Hatha a type of workout?

    I'm trying to brush up on my workout dictionary and a dude I know from India was saying he practices hatha for his stress and I wasn't sure what he meant so i asked him. he said it had to do with yoga and to look into it. so that is why I am here, can you explain what it means and how do use it to help with stress.     hatha is a slow version of yoga that focuses more on stretching and holding the posture. it is very good for stress so your friend is right on that. you need to find a yoga class that offers it for newbies. i will do this style daily on my own to relax.
