gym vs hiking

Hi guys, question, I can either get a hiking program which is intensive exercise as you all know or get a gym
subscription, I need to lose body fat what should I go for?

Depends on your goals. You won't build a mighty chest walking. Equally working on chest will do nothing for fat loss.
 
Everything helps. Personally I prefer a gym membership because that is what I enjoy. With fat loss it really comes down to diet anyways.
 
There are 3 pillars of fitness -
Strength training, cardio and flexibility

You want to focus on all 3 equally. The gym is strength training. Hiking is cardio. Flexibility is things like yoga
