Groin strengthening

What would be a safe way to rehab from a groin injury ? I pulled my groin squatting and I am dealing with some discomfort in the area. Should I be strengthening the area ?
 
Rest and recover first and foremost. After that you can add hip adduction work to strengthen your groin.
 
if you go to a physical therapist that is their MO

however it is incorrect for people in our game because we are already strong

so it is a scam and ignorant for anyone to say you need to strenghten an injury . what you need simply is rest
