Should i just buy the gloves that i see on the gear web sites , guess they are called open hand gloves, i can hit the bag with em and train with those too right>???

Well which bag are you training with a heavy bag or a speedbag

For a heavy bag i would recommend http://www.twinsboxinggear.com/bag_gloves.htm

Get some real fight 16 oz gloves

and if your hitting the speed bag i would just wrap my wrists with are at the botton of the page on the first links

If you are just hitting the bag, then you want to get "bag" gloves specifically. They are specially designed for bag work and to protect your hands. If you are sparring, then you are going to wan to buy "sparring/training" gloves. I buy from www.mmatraining.tv , they have some of the lowest prices that I have seen and good service.

The quickest way to screw up your hands is to not use proper gloves when hitting heavy bags. Use the heavily padded gloves for the heavy bags. I only use wraps for speed drills, speed bag etc.
