German Volume Training (10 sets method) while bulking

Has anyone done this workout? It was made hugely popular again by Charles Poliquin in the 1990's. I did two 6-week runs of it about 10 years ago. Lemme tell you, it totally kicked my ass. However, I think it put some mass on my frame that I have never lost.

You basically do 10 sets of 10 with the same weight with only 60 seconds of rest between sets. The first few sets seem too easy, but by the time you hit set 7 or so, you're suckin' wind!

Seems like a good match for a bulking cycle.

I did it back in 1998 or so when Bill Phillips wrote about it in the EAS supplement review. I was on a cutting phase so I don't know how effective it would be with bulking. It does kick your ass and I could never really do dips before that. But 10 sets of dips was supered with 10 sets of curls and I could probably crank out 50 dips in a row unweighted to this day because of it.

I was actually thinking of giving it a run again.

Hey, I didn't write the program...but yeah it would be 10x10 sets of tri's for six weeks. But it's every 5 days so like Chest/Back, Legs/Abs, off, Bi's/Tri's, off and then repeat.

10 sets of 10 for tri's is to much i thought it was 10x10 on the big 1ns bench, rows, squats, shoulder press. iv done 10x10 4 squats and it is hard as hell, nealy chuked up my pre wok-out meal had to sit out side the gym on the floor thought i was gonna die lol but its all good done it 4 3-4 weeks n this happened every time

its just like any other training methodology. when used correctly results will be made. i found adaptation to exercises and reps/sets to be extremely quick due to the low weight necessary to complete the 10 sets. not good for small body parts either.
