Excerpt: I'm upset as the guy who got me into weight training died last week of the virus which has been bad in my town, i learned more from him in 5 minutes then i've learned in years listening to bros at the gym. he used to do almost all squats as front squats and told me they were the most efficient way to squat. what do you guys do?

    front squats vs. regular squats

    sorry for your loss

    he is absolutely right and the reason is it is much harder to cheat when you do front squats cause if you use bad form you will fail on the lift

    Front squatting puts the emphasis on the quads. That's it vs normal back squats

    Back squats will put more of the focus on glutes and hamstrings while front squats will put more load on the quads.
