Finding Intensity

Welcome to the EliteFitness.com Bodybuilding Site! Please join this discussion about Finding Intensity within the Weight Training & Weight Lifting category.

Excerpt: Hey guys, I've been lifting for a while, and I lift to failure, but I always feel like I could have done one more. I can't seem to get that "grr" in my workout. Plus at the end of a workout, even if it's long and I lifted pretty hard, I still feel like I spent the whole time d!ck!ng around. Suggestions?

Stop training to failure, get a plan, weight, sets, reps, with progress over the next 8 weeks or longer. The only time you should "fail" is when you actually fail making a planned lift.
