    Feeling stronger

    Do you feel stronger after everytime you lift? I have been getting that feeling and wanted to know if others feel that way. I am not on anything. Thats why its a cool feeling.

    you are feeling the endorphins from exercising

    weight training is only scratching the surface, try running a half marathon or tri-athlon and see how you feel

    weight lifting is not even close to a true flight or fight response in the body

    Like Steve says - it's endorphins. If anything I feel weaker after and I AM strong.

    Not always. Sometimes I'm just so mentally and physically exhausted after working out it's quite the opposite.

    What you are describing here sounds more like that adrenaline/endorphine rush you get from working out.

    This is a huge benefit of weight training......the mental boost you get from it.
