Anyone know (with science to back them up) which exercises recruits the most muscle fibres?

My List which I have read from Dr. Ellington Darden

Chest- Close grip Decline press

Lats- Curl grip/parralell grip chins/pulldown

Legs- Squats, Romanian DL( got romanian DL from AST-ss)

Shoulders - Clean + Press (got that from steve Davis)

Im looking to pack on some more mass to my 220lbs frame and I just want to focus on a few exercises but I want to choose the ones that work the muscle fully.

Wouldnt this work the triceps more than chest, with the close grip?

Im not sure if they recruit the most fibers, but they are a great exercise and i would definitely include them.

close grip... I should of said medium grip.
works triceps but also hit chest much harder over a fuller range of motion.

I remember in an old (1994) issue of Muscle and Fitness Magazine, that it mentioned that a 30 degree incline press with a medium grip recruited the most muscle fibers out of any other chest exercise.
