Is this an effective method to build running stamina?

Week 1: Run 3 miles, Mon- Friday
Week 2: Run up hills/down hills 20 mins
Week 3: Rest (high risk of stress fractures) Swim 200meters daily
Week 4: Run 4 miles M-F
Week 5: Hills 25 minutes
Week 6: Run 5 miles
Week 6: Hills 30 minutes
Week 7: 6 miles
Week 8: Hills 35 minutes
Week 9: Swim 300Ms
Week 10: 6 mile runs, 7 min miles

Guys who do alot of long distance running, I need your advice. I am enlisting in the army and I want to get into crazy ass shape. Thanks.
 
No.

1) need to mix it upon a daily, not a weekly basis
2) swiming doesn't do jack for your run
3) Here is a simple suggestion for three days a week:
Day 1 - Run for 30 minutes at a moderate pace
Day 2 - Run Moderatly Hard for 5 minutes, take two minutes to jog easy and recover. Do this four times.
Day 3 - Run really easy for 1 hour

Try that for a month and get back to us.
 
That is a whole lot of running. I would think you would have knee pains and issues rather than benefit from this.

I'd go with a mix of running and high intensisty biking(Like a spinning class). Do a long distance run once per week(6+ miles)


And always time your self!!!
